Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Links<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent days, scammers have been using fraudulent SMS messages that appear to be from Pakistan Post to deceive users. These messages often claim that a parcel is waiting to be delivered, but the recipient must pay an outstanding custom fee of Rs. 15.83. A suspicious link is included in the SMS, urging users to click on it in order to pay the fee and receive their parcel.
However, when users click the link, they are redirected to a clone website that looks remarkably similar to the official Pakistan Post site. The scammers attempt to trick victims into paying the so-called “custom fee,” but when users try to make the payment, large sums\u2014often ranging from 2 to 4 lac rupees\u2014are deducted from their accounts.
